What is a Sliding Heart?

In order for an object to slide it must maintain contact while moving smoothly along another object.  There is a connection that cannot be broken.  In many ways the camera is an extension of a photographer's eyes.  It too must keep contact and move fluently with the artist to maintain focus and capture a unique point of view.  At the same time that the camera connects to our eyes, our heart connects to our view.  It slides from one end of the emotional spectrum to the other as one image after another evokes new feelings from within.

About the Photographer

Stacy Pearlman grew up in the Northeast but has called Los Angeles her home for over a decade.  What started as a hobby quickly grew into a  journey to explore new places with a camera guiding her way through life.  She is influenced and defined by her love of nature's details, eclectic music, ducks, a lovable cat, liquid movement and animation.  This site is dedicated to her mother who passed away from cancer in January of 2013.
